Lafcadio Hearn was a British writer who lived in Japan for a long time and recorded many classic Japanese tales for Westerners to appreciate. One such tale is that of Mimi Nashi Hoichi, the musician and storyteller who found himself playing for the dead. This is a ghost story at it’s most creepy–enjoy! Listen
